When you travel with kids, you know perfectly well that what's really interesting and enjoyable to you at the same time could be extremely boring to them simply because they have different curiosities, and in many cases, they notice many more details than adults do. Having a son of my own, I have experienced this very well, many, many times.
This is the reason why I have customized an interactive "kid-friendly" language and content for family walking tour.
Follow me on a treasure hunt around the old town, look at the buildings as if they were pop up books. Can you find the dragon, a winged lion or some griffins? Why is there a sleeping dog on the facade of the Cathedral? What's a pomegranate tree doing on the door of a palace? Close your eyes and imagine Genoa at the time of Cristopher Columbus… What was it like when he was a young boy? Where did he live? You will explore the old town from your children’s perspective, along with some helpful didactic materials, such as dot-to-dot puzzles, filling in coloring books, mazes, photos, etc, and a good dose of fun to make your kids feel part of the experience and really enjoy it.
Each tour will be customized to suit the interests and ages of your children. Custom activities can also be planned depending on particular interests and children’s ages as well.
